Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband’s 66th Annual Meeting of Members is scheduled for Friday, October 6th, 2023. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. There will not be an in-person meeting this year. The cooperative will share what has been accomplished over the past year and discuss future plans for the cooperative through a presentation which can be viewed at focusbroadband.com/annualmeeting or on FOCUS Broadband TV Channel 3.

Registration and voting will be conducted online and by mail through a third-party vendor, Survey & Ballots Systems. Members who have opted to receive their FOCUS Broadband monthly billing statement electronically will receive their registration and voting instructions via email, and members who receive a paper copy of their monthly billing statement will receive registration and voting information through the mail. Registration or ballot material mailed directly to or brought to any FOCUS Broadband location will be considered void and will not count. Registration is now open and will close on October 4th. Three current board members, Whitney E. King, Janice Gore, and Michelle Ingram have been nominated as candidates and are all running unopposed.

Members who register and vote for the meeting will receive a $20 bill credit on their November billing statement. FOCUS Broadband will also award $3,000 in cash prizes, including a grand prize of $750. Prize winners will be announced at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting presentation, as well as on the FOCUS Broadband website and Facebook page.
