Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband held a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at the company headquarters in Shallotte. The family-friendly event was attended by hundreds of members, and those in attendance enjoyed local BBQ and music while also participating in product demonstrations and prize giveaways throughout the day.

Christy and Michael McClure of Calabash won the grand prize drawing for a 55-Inch flat-screen television. Attendees who participated in MergeTV demonstrations were eligible for one of several drawings for Amazon Fire TV Sticks.

“It’s always great when our members and our employees can get together to enjoy a day. We value these opportunities, and this is our way of saying thank you for their support of the cooperative,” stated FOCUS Broadband CEO, Keith Holden.

FOCUS Broadband was formed in 1955 as a membership cooperative for the purpose of bringing needed communications services to rural areas of Brunswick County. Today, the company is the largest broadband cooperative in North Carolina and provides communications service to nine southeastern North Carolina counties.
