Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband has announced the appointment of Dan Dufour as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dufour will report to Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Keith Holden and lead the company’s Finance and Accounting departments.

Dufour brings 35 years of experience, including in the telecommunications and financial services industries; most recently working as an Executive Consultant with Hoxton Circle. Prior to that, he served as Corporate Vice President at both Charter Communications and Comcast where he led various growth initiatives, as well as identified and implemented strategic operational improvements. Dufour earned his Bachelor of Science in Statistics at North Carolina State University and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Boston College.

Dufour will replace Kim Edwards, Vice President of Accounting and Finance, following her retirement. Edwards has led the Accounting and Finance departments for more than a decade and has played an instrumental role in the company’s growth over the past five years.
