January 5th, 2024 – EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE
Due to damage caused by a company working along Highway 17, FOCUS Broadband must undertake emergency maintenance beginning at midnight on Friday, January 5th lasting through 5 am. During this time all services (internet, telephone, cable TV) for the following areas will experience a loss of service(s) for a time period that could last up to 5 hours. The customers impacted will be those served by both fiber optics and cable modem service in the northern portion of Brunswick County and the eastern portion of Columbus County. The communities impacted will include portions of the Town of Belville and Town of Leland (including: Mallory Creek, Waterford, Old Towne, Willow Creek, Magnolia Greens, Lanvale Road communities, areas along Village Road, and more). We apologize for any inconvenience.
July 1, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband's Premium Wi-Fi solution, Plume, will be conducting maintenance between 1 AM and 6 AM on their cloud infrastructure on Tuesday, 07/01/2025. This may cause customers with Plume to go offline temporarily for approximately 5 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
February 26th, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance from 4 AM to 6 AM on Thursday, 02/26/2025. Fiber services in the Millcreek and Holly Shelter communities will be affected from 30-40 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
September 10, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance that will affect Fiber services from 4 AM to 6 AM on Wednesday, 9/10/25 in areas of Lumber Bridge in Robeson County, Neal Sinclaire Road in Hoke County and Spring Hill in Scotland County. We do not expect this service interruption to last more than 20-30 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
June 9th - June 12th, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance over the course of four days which may impact all Fiber Optic services to a few areas. Maintenance will take place from 4AM to 6AM. We do not expect this interruption to last more than 20-30 minutes. Work will take place near the following areas and on the days shown below.
- June 9th - Brunswick Forest
- June 10th - Winding River
- June 11th - Town Creek (North)
- June 12th - Areas near Brunswick Community College
September 11, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance on Thursday, 09/11/2025 between 3:00AM and 6:00AM. We will be moving our facilities out of the construction path of a culvert pipe in the Dell Webb community in Brunswick Forest. During this time, all fiber services will be impacted for customers in this area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
July 29, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance from 4AM through 6AM on Tuesday, 07/29/2025. All Fiber services may be affected in the Neal Sinclaire Road (Hoke County) and Sprint Hill (Scotland County) areas. Interruption should last no more than 5-10 minutes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
July 30, 2025 - FOCUS Broadband will be performing maintenance from 2AM through 6AM on Wednesday, 07/30/2025. There is a possibility that some FOCUS Broadband fiber customers may be affected during this maintenance window. Interruption should last no more than 2 minutes.
