ATMC Scholarships Awarded to Local Seniors
Shallotte, NC – ATMC has awarded five local high school seniors with $2,000 scholarships based on their academics, involvement in school and community activities, and interview skills. Recipients include Laney Cribb of South Columbus High School, Jackson Metty and Helen Rippy-Roehner of North Brunswick High School, and Mikayla Watts and Amileon Williams of Brunswick County Early College High School.
Cribb is the daughter of Brian and Anna Cribb of Tabor City, NC. She plans to attend East Carolina University where she will study biology. Metty, son of Brian and Danielle Metty of Leland, NC, will attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with plans to major in nursing. Rippy-Roehner of Leland is the daughter of Christopher William Roehner and Helen Myra Rippy. She will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to study nursing. Watts, daughter of Brian and Mary Watts of Supply, NC, will attend Meredith College with plans to major in biology. Williams is the daughter of Natalia Stevenson of Supply. She will study nursing at North Carolina A&T State University.
