Shallotte, NC – FOCUS Broadband’s 65th Annual Meeting of Members is scheduled for Friday, October 7th, 2022, at the Odell Williamson Auditorium on the campus of Brunswick Community College. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The cooperative will share what has been accomplished over the past year and discuss future plans during the meeting. There will not be a dinner served or entertainment at this year’s meeting.

Registration will be conducted online and by mail again this year using a third-party vendor, Survey & Ballots Systems. Registration will be available onsite the day of the meeting, but members are encouraged to register prior to with the online and mail-in options. Members who have opted to receive their FOCUS Broadband monthly billing statement electronically will receive their annual meeting notice and instructions via email, and members who receive a paper copy of their monthly billing statement will receive registration information through the mail. Registration is now open and will close on October 5th. Three current board members, Julia F. Tripp, Justin Milliken, and H. Conrad Bryant III are all running unopposed.

Members who register for the meeting will receive a $20 bill credit on their November billing statement. FOCUS Broadband will also award $3,000 in cash prizes, including a grand prize of $750. Prize winners will be announced the Monday following the Annual Meeting on the FOCUS Broadband website and Facebook page. Members who register do not have to be present at the meeting to win.
