ATMC to Issue $2 Million in Capital Credit Refunds
Shallotte, NC – The ATMC Board of Directors recently announced that the cooperative will issue $2 million in Capital Credit refunds to current and former cooperative members who had qualifying services in a select portion of 1998, 1999, and/or 2020. “We are proud that our cooperative can provide such a tremendous benefit and once again give back to our members who have helped us become the successful company that we are today,” said Jamie Milliken, ATMC Board President. He added, “The support of our members is what enables ATMC to have continued success, and these refunds are a way that our members can share in our accomplishments.”
ATMC is a membership cooperative, and because of that, portions of revenues not used for expenses are refunded to members through Capital Credits. This year’s allocation is part of over $56 million in Capital Credit refunds issued since ATMC’s inception.
Only members who had qualifying services during select portions of 1998, 1999, and/or 2020 will receive a Capital Credit refund. Members who are due a disbursement of less than $50 will see the refund applied as a credit on their September billing statement, members with a disbursement of $50 or more will receive a check in the mail. All Capital Credit checks will be mailed out by the first week in September. If you meet the eligibility requirements and have not received your refund by October 1st, please call 910-755-1609.
